Passion for Pride PFY Fundraiser

PFY is celebrating an incredible 30 years of serving the LGBTQ+ communities of Long Island and Queens! It has certainly taken a great deal of PASSION behind the services and programs that our staff have developed and provided over these three decades. Join all of us who share a PASSION FOR PRIDE on Tuesday June 13th, 2023, as we honor the groundbreaking work PFY has accomplished throughout the years. Your ticket will include our patio cocktail hour, seated dinner, full open bar, a dazzling evening program of guest speakers, raffles, games, dancing, and a Drag BINGO performance you will not forget!

And as if that was not enough, we are also thrilled to welcome actor, author, and activist for the LGBTQ+ and AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) communities, Maulik Pancholy, as our Honoree! You'll know Maulik from his roles on such hit TV shows as 30 Rock, Only Murders in the Building, Weeds, Phineas and Ferb, and much more. He has also written two LGBTQ+ affirming young adult books (The Best at It, and Nikhil Out Loud), and he is the co-founder of Act to Change, a non-profit anti-bullying campaign supporting AAPI youth. As a New Yorker with a strong connection to Long Island, Maulik is PASSIONate about the work PFY has done for the LGBTQ+ community here during the last 30 years. And we are so excited to honor him and all of his accomplishments!
